The train journey to the airport is ideal. A little downside on the tickets via the app... on the outward journey, we had printed them out but on the return journey we went through the app and it didn't work because as soon as we approached the phone with the QR code, it triggered Apple Pay!!!! We had to ask an agent to open it for us...
Tickets were ready to go instead of managing selections after long flights and it was a two minute wait for the train on the platform. One less headache to manage. Perfect!
Easy to find, quick trip and comfortable train. The very best way to go to the airport!!! Emanuela

Excellent. Highly recommended. Easy to use, and efficient.
Can be done online and offers a very good service
Quick,no problem with the ticket
Tickets very easy to get. What's more, the driver spotted us from a distance and asked us (by sign) if we were taking the bus and waited for us.
Very convenient bus to get to downtown quickly, the qr was not scanned but the driver told us there were no problems because he had already seen the tickets.
We didn't have an "experience," it was supposed to be a two way ticket from the airport to a stop nearest our hotel. There was no-one to advise when we arrived at the airport; There WAS NO GUIDE; We were not told where the "bus interchange' was; We found our own way because it was well signposted at the airport, and had to look up the bus route ourselves. When we found the right bus, we attempted to scan the tickets on our phones. Unfortunately I'm not sure anything was registered and we effectively rode for free. All instructions on the bus by the driver, were in Dutch, so we had to listen very carefully as we neared our destination for the correct stop. This was a stressful experience because we do not speak Dutch, and we were new to the country, having only just arrived. It wasn't a good start and have no idea what to do when we leave Amsterdam to come home. The overall experience did not match the expectations you set for us as travellers, and therefore it has to be seen overall as an unacceptable experience provided by your company. Our mobile phones were more useful in helping us to our destination than anything you provided.
Did not almost find the bus stop, and could not understand when og where we could get off. We had trouble with standing at the bus, since it was not seats to everyone.
It was unclear whether I need to scan QR code or not. And when I tried it did not work and opened the Wallet application (auto NFC). Confused whther all good with my return ticket or not.
No Cash payment was possible. Online Ticket die Not work at the screens on the Bus.
All worked out well as expected

The ease of use of the card was flawless! Really enjoyed all the museums to see and already paid for.
It was great to have the City Card, not only were museums we wanted to visit free with the card, but the ease of using public transport was phenominal
We purchased the city card for 3 days and visited Rembrandt's museum, Old Church, Our Lord in the Attic, Rijksmyseum, and still planning to visit Stedelijk museum and Portuguese synagogue. Very convenient.
Entry went smoothly. However, you couldn't book the 5D flight online without paying in advance, so we had to book on site and had to wait. But that wasn't too bad for us. However, we had a lot of problems using the qr code as a ticket. That drove us crazy, especially on the first day
The card covered a variety of activites plus public transportation. We tried museums that we might now have otherwised checked out due to the card.
Beautiful city! Absolutely must do city card because it makes your life easier and facilitates entry to a lot of museums and places that you would normally maybe not visit. Highly recommended! Amber
The large selection of different ways to organize your day. I think it's a shame that many interesting sights have to be booked online in advance to get a ticket. We couldn't visit the van Gogh Museum because we didn't get a ticket.

Quick and convenient to use. And always a streetcar to get somewhere quickly
You are mobile in Amsterdam and can therefore visit many places
The convenience of the Service albeit with some minor glitches on mobile. At one it would go through the turnstiles at others it would instead put off redoing payment in the iOS Wallet. Explanations on how to use it on means in Amsterdam would also have been convenient.
You have to get to grips with it, but once you understand how the system works, it's all plain sailing
Having the pass allways abaiable in telephones wallet in combination with the GVB App gave us a great time in Amsterdam with the ultimate mobility.
I worked perfectly with our travel passes and it was easy to order and use in subways, trains and busses. A really good experience.
Tickets were sometimes difficult to scan, were no longer on the app on the 2nd day, had to be reloaded via the mail...
Ticket purchase easy, very cheap for a big city. Station at Schiphol Airport easy to find. Frequent frequency. Train ride fast, clean. Travel time approx. 18 min. to AMS central station.
It's practical, the trains run frequently and on time. However, the scanners are scratched in some places and therefore the digital tickets cannot be read.
Got my pass without difficulty. However it did not work well to activate the sensor on the tram. My friend's worked fine. I was never stopped but it was anxiety producing.

The whole activation process was misleading. And the QR code of the ticket was not always recognized immediately, so you had to use your cell phone several times via the scanner at the metro entrance. But when it worked, the whole thing was great.
Beautiful city I particularly liked the Anselm Kiefer exhibition and the super organized streetcar ride. We only found out after two days that you can get off the tram with a credit card. I think that's great, better than in Paris. A rather complicated system has now been introduced there and the fare is relatively expensive.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get the app functions to work. I took a screenshot of the booking. It must have worked.
Easy to find, quick trip and comfortable train. The very best way to go to the airport!!! Emanuela
Everything went smoothly! The connections are great - a streetcar every 5 minutes!
