The concept was developed by Mattel, celebrating Barbie’s 65th anniversary, and designed by Dutch creative studio partners specializing in experiential entertainment. The exhibition was created to showcase Barbie’s evolution, from her origins in 1959 to becoming a global symbol of empowerment and imagination. Each of the twelve zones reflects milestones in Barbie’s history, merging physical installations with digital interactivity to appeal to both children and adults.
